The Evolution uses two technologies for improved results at both deep and shallow hunting:

Very Low Frequency (VLF) - For detection between 30-50 centimeters deep.
Electro Magnetic Signal Readers (EMSR) - For detection up to 8 meters or 25 feet deep.

The new 3d ground scanner "Evolution" enforces what the name already promises.

The control unit is has an LED back light for searching at night, an easy-to-use color touch screen, wireless telescopic probe, 3D scanner mode that works with the EMSR, and live sound that works with the VLF.

The entire unit is light weight giving your arm strength for hours of hunting.
